The inspiration behind "Shattered but Unbreakable"
"Shattered but Unbreakable," was born from a deeply personal journey. For a long time, I was in an abusive relationship, experiencing gaslighting that led me to believe the issues were my fault. It took years of therapy to heal and understand. During this time, my counsellor encouraged me to "name the hurt," and these moments became the words within my book. Many of my diary entries are woven into this novel, offering raw and authentic perspectives. I hope survivors, those currently in abusive relationships, and anyone seeking real stories will find solace and understanding within its pages.
My unique approach to storytelling
As a first-time writer, I never imagined I would be an author. This perspective shapes my writing style, making it accessible and easy to read for most. My goal is to connect with readers through direct, uncomplicated language that conveys profound experiences without unnecessary complexity. It's a style born from authenticity, aiming to share powerful narratives in a way that resonates immediately.
